National Environmental Research Program Tropical Ecosystem Hub (NERP TE Hub)

As part of The National Environmental Research Program, the RRRC administered the Tropical Ecosystems Hub (NERP TE Hub) which gave government bodies, industries, stakeholders and communities the ability to predict, prepare for and respond to wide ranging environmental situations.

One of the greatest challenges facing Australia is the sustainable management of its natural resources. Industry, government and community sometimes lack knowledge about or access to the most current scientific information from research scientists. RRRC’s information networks ensured that the robust research done underpinned environmental management.

RRRC, the NERP TE Hub and Industry partnered together to help remove the barriers and improve access to scientific knowledge. RRRC’s Services enahnced delivery of the NERP TE Hub projects on time and to budget.

RRRC’s program management helped improve and expand the capabilities of the NERP TE Hub. With greater relevancy of research and connectivity to industry, the process of adding value to a wide range of industries was significantly accelerated.
