  A private philanthropic organisation that supports research on the Great Barrier Reef

• Skyrail Rainforest Foundation (SRF)
  A private organisation that supports tropical rainforest research and education projects that meet the Foundation's objectives.

• Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC)
  The peak body for the tourism industry in Queensland

• Terrain Natural Resource Management (Terrain NRM)
  The main catchment management body in the Wet Tropics Natural Resource Management Region
